High performance = High maintenance

I think I’ve seen a similar post recently which described racing cars and other top echelon endeavors that are not really applicable for use in ever day life.

One aspect that I feel was missing there was, how much effort is required to pull together and keep together a team required to build and operate systems like that.

Everyone seems to want the F1 team of agile delivery somehow forgetting:

• The things these guys would consider hygiene level before even coming along to look at your things
• How much work you’ll have to put in to unlock their potential
• Effort required to keep up with them as they continue to raise the bar

I’m not saying all above cannot be met or resolved, all I’m asking is for you to consider if you have the power to meet the demands after you stuff your house full of top notch developers 🙂
